Metadata Bridge for DaVinci Resolve

edit video better

evrBridge Highlights

We believe the best recipe to make something great, is to bake with quality ingredients and add dollops of cool stuff

Unlock the Power of Metadata

Stop filling in Resolve's Media Pool by hand. evrBridge reads what your camera already recorded — ISO, aperture, shutter, white balance, gamma, lens, timecode — and maps it directly to DaVinci Resolve's metadata columns in seconds.

Camera-Aware Metadata Mapping

evrBridge recognises each camera manufacturer and knows exactly where it stores its data. Dedicated processors for Sony, Canon, ARRI, Blackmagic, Nikon, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Z-Cam, Kinefinity, GoPro, iPhone and more — including sidecar files like Sony M01.XML, Canon companion XML and RTMD embedded track data.

Batch Processing

Drop a folder, press Process. evrBridge scans all subfolders recursively and processes multiple files in parallel — with configurable parallel jobs to match your hardware. The larger the shoot, the more time you save.

Sidecar Intelligence

evrBridge automatically reads companion sidecar files — Sony M01.XML, Canon XML, Canon XF JPG — to recover serial numbers, firmware versions, lens data and gamma information that isn't embedded in the video container itself. More metadata, zero extra steps.
Why it came to be...

How to import metadata in DaVinci Resolve

evrBridge is a focused Windows utility that bridges the gap between your camera cards and DaVinci Resolve's metadata system.

When you ingest footage into Resolve, the Media Pool columns — Camera Type, Scene, Take, ISO, Lens, Gamma Notes, Color Space — are empty by default. Filling them manually across a multi-camera shoot is tedious, slow and error-prone. evrBridge reads the metadata already embedded in your files by the camera and exports it as a structured CSV that Resolve imports in seconds.

It handles the edge cases that generic tools miss: Sony RTMD embedded track data, Canon Cinema gamma hex codes, Panasonic XML fallback values, companion sidecar files and more. One file per clip, one row in the CSV, every field correctly mapped.

evrBridge inherits the mission of evrDVR, evrApp's original metadata export tool, and takes it further: a complete rewrite, built natively for Windows, fully aligned with the metadata extraction capabilities of evrExpanse — the company's flagship tool for macOS, trusted by filmmakers and colorists worldwide. Windows users now have access to the same battle-tested metadata pipeline, purpose-built for their platform.
